I am a newby to to the Protocol of the site , Though I have been reading all the posts for a while now .

I am an English man married to a Thai Lady .We married in Thailand . If I want to live in Thailand ,What is the best avenue /please ? I will retire from work on /24 . I am familiar with Thailand having visited 14 times so far .All advice will be listened to and gratefully received -Thanks .

I have noticed a certain trend on a lot FB forums - (99% of people are genuine /Nice /Real and helpful) But the tiny 1% should not put us off sharing /Asking for help .I have the advantage of filtering advice through my Thai wife .She told me a long time ago - Do not believe all that I read on Forums .... She is more knowledgeable than me about all things relating to Thailand ( A very good Example -Crossing the road in Bangkok can be Dangerous /In precise )..... I thought she was treating me like a child ( Until the Doctor was run down and killed by a Guy on a Ducati) I now assume most drivers in Bangkok are dangerous ... I am still able to cross safely .

I think my Wife uses AIS when we go back to Thailand . The service is good /They have shops in all the big Malls .😃

I have a basic Samsung A12 . I bought a sim in the local store - They set it all up for me .This was not a difficult or expensive . Of course my Thai wife was there to explain what I needed . I would not have confidence in Vodaphone -I have read so many Negative reports about their tricks ...
