You still have time. Monitor the situation but as of now you’d be able to get a 30 day extension for sure. Just need to find out which immigration office is responsible (I’m not sure of this; perhaps some other member can assist).

As of now Germany is not flying out their citizens because they say flights are available. However there is a website where you can register for that case. Perhaps take this precaution in case things get worse and it’s necessary to leave. Follow the German embassy page on Facebook I’d say.

What if you extend a tourist visa for 30 days once and then try to extend again for another 1900฿, they will refuse that, sure. but do they grant 7 more days for you to leave the country? 🤔

I have a question regarding this: I came to Thailand end of December 2017 on a Non Imm ED visa. 90days. Whenever I go to immigration and get an extension they'll only give me 60days though. How many extensions can I get? Currently on my 2nd on. School said they are not sure I can get another one. Thanks!

Flying to HCMC tmrw in the evening and concerned about the time I have to get there. Any thoughts?

Actually they do it for you. ;) no need to bring one.

Just went and got one Friday. Actually it took 15 mins and the process was quite easy. It is located after security check and before you stamp out. 1200 baht.

Been to HCMC for both, SETV and ED visa. Very straight forward details about required documents on their website. Can recommend. If you meet all the requirements, pick up passport with visa next day in the afternoon. And HCMC is a great city imho :)

Okay thanks for the advice will go early then and wait my time. What's the procedure like? I thought just getting a number and when it's your turn hand in papers, wait again and collect passport?!
