Hello, I stay in Vientiane and I plan to get back to Thailand. It seems that everything is changing every hour. Can someone confirm that I can cross border at Nong Khai from Lao side? I am a Czech nationality, so I should get visa exemption. Do I need a medical certificate or something more than passport?

So when you obtained your documents from the school there was written down that your language course is going to end on 11th November(expiration date of your extension of stay)?

Thank you for your reply. It sounds reasonable. I have been told by the school officer there is no possibility to cancel my extension of stay i.e. one week before having a letter from school confirming that my course is gonna end on my last day(of extension of stay giving by Immigration). So some people say this and the others totally opposite information. Therefore go to cancel it a few days before my last day I am allowed to stay sounds like the only choice. btw I am not going to do border run but I am leaving Thailand for some time.

Thank you for useful information. When you cancel your extension of stay you must leave Thailand within next 24 hours, right?
