That happen sometimes randomly with a few people. So don’t spread false information. It’s not a new process they do with all DTV holders.

The visa doesn’t matter. But I remember that I registered with my Thai Driver License. So best just download the App and try. Sometimes they change the rules anyway 😀

Maybe I just misunderstood what OP was saying with: „… will provide a letter“! Sounds for me like an extra written document additionally to the CoR.

I know what a CoR is. I also had one for my drivers license. But how can a IO writing a letter and knowing about how long a person stay somewhere? For the bank as a proof it’s enough to show the rental contract.
