Sounds like this is a post to tell everyone how poor you are and how difficult your life has been... why dont you ask your family or business lawyer instead of a FB group

I would add that i was randomly asked for 6 months of statements after my initial submission...

Its supposed to be in your account for 3 months, but on my application I was asked for 4 months. Every application is going to be different. They would raise their eyebrows if the account went from zero to the amount they wanted within a short period of time. They want people who can show that they can genuinely support themselves while they are living in Thailand. Its really not rocket science.

The DTV rules and outlines say 3 months, so I'd start saving but hey, listen to FB visa advice that's always a sure thing

To all the people who think thailands tighter immigration is overboard, you obviously haven't dealt with another country's immigration. To get my Thai girlfriend a visitors visa to New Zealand they dug right into her private life. I had to sponsor her, meaning i was liable for her costs including health care, and the cost of her deportation if she breached the conditions of her visitors visa... now we're onto a relationship visa it was full on disclosure of everything. I understand that Australia is as bad if not stricter. Thailand is just doing a fraction of what other countries are doing and in my opinion it's a good thing.
