I weighed the cost-benefit to waiting for turn around, and flew to LA for same day processing (of SETV, not sure if B takes longer). Of course, cost over the holidays might outweigh benefit but I'm a big fan of going in person if time is f the essence.
Right, I meant if they came in on an exempt stamp, and then overstayed because the adults did a run and the kids didn't, or the kids came in on an exempt stamp while the adults came in on an ED visa, and the kids only left with us at the 90 day run, they'd be facing 60 day overstays each time. Of course, I'd rather find an ED visa that will assist with O visas for them (or vice versa) but just looking at the scenarios (and one that doesn't involved 4 plane tickets every 30 days!)
As a client of IGLU's for the last 2 years, who has had MULTIPLE Thai developers working on her project, I can tell you that they recruit and FT employ MANY Thai nationals as well as expats. Very few would qualify as DNs - the only non-Thai developers we use have been in CM for 5-10 years. IGLU is legit and not pushing paper, I can tell you that. Not sure where the totally false information is coming from, but they're a really great dev shop to work with.
Edited to add: I also worked out of their CM offices for 3 months even though I'm US based and can tell you they employ many more Thai developers than I even utilized on my team, as well as many support staff. I wouldn't be surprised if they did have a 4:1 ratio.
