Yes, that's definitely considered as working in Thailand... You CAN'T involve in any work, marketing or selling activity here in Thailand under a DTV. You're fine with exhibitions outside the country. Your DTV application is a small risk compared to getting caught here in Thailand working without the proper documents. Remember, just because you're getting a DTV by mentioning such activity doesn't mean you're allowed to perform it in Thailand later (immigration has its own rules).
