 in most major cities in Thailand Internet should not be a problem. I am talking Chiang Mai, Phuket, Bangkok, Pattaya, Udon Thani, Hua Hin. Maybe in some Islands the infraestructures are less developed, but in general, you will be fine

I would not use any agent. Why you need an agent? You just need to upload few docs thru the eVisa website of the embassy of your choice

 visa for digital nomad. You can work remotely in Thailand but cannot work for a thai company or apply to any job with local employers.
