the bank teller can enter a USSD code on your mobile that will show the name of the account holder

It’s something like *#176# (most likely wrong so don’t do it yourself)

They did that at SCB in Kalasin

yes, that’s how it is with Kalasn

For me anyway

Remember the immigration officer can ask for anything he wants

I had to come with the next day with a new bank statement and the village head in tow

if you need to get a statement prior to visiting immigration (has to be same day) it will make it easier if there are problems

They love canceling your debit card, and making you pay for a replacement. Difficult to open an account with them too now.

I did the embassy step myself (Aussie) but I believe they can do the whole thing for you

There are places that will do the whole service for you (MFA and translation)

I’m Aussie but had to take my originals to Bangkok Aus embassy, got my passport, marriage and birth certs certified there, then had to get them translated and MFA stamped for immigration
