for your response. On previous visits, I've exchanged American cash (in 50's) in BKK for the best exchange rate. I thought I would have to show my 750.00 in Thai baht. So I can show American money to Immigration if asked?

I tried the Vancouver office and was informed because I reside in Ontario that Ottawa was the embassy to use.I'm extremely nervous about doing 30 day visa exemption because I'll have to lay out more money and might be refused entry.

Nor does the Thai Embassy in Ottawa allow walk-ins any longer. There is no expedited e-visa service and unfortunately their website explains that 20-25 business days is required for an e-visa. I submitted my docs Nov. 3 and was informed of my cancellation Dec. 15. I'm so sorry,

I too live near Ottawa; my 60-day Tourist visa app. was cancelled due to a clerical error on my part. I asked for a detailed explanation and received one, 15 days before my departure date. I'm now considering 30 day visa exemption.The phone is never answered, Qiang Fan.Empathy. I'd heard that the Ottawa embassy was short-staffed. We Ontarians have no recourse but to deal with this embassy, unless visa exemption chosen.This is the fourth time I've dealt with this Embassy. This is the first time I've been cancelled.Can anyone confirm the Rodtang,refused entry at TO immigration?

Due to a clerical error on my part, my 60 day tourist visa was cancelled, nor would I have had the time to re-apply as it usually can take up to 25 business days to re-apply and I would have missed my departure flight. I might try visa exemption (Canada) and realize which docs/cash to bring. My question is: I will show that I will be staying in Chiang Mai, but does Immigration need prove of domestic flight booking to CMX? I was hoping to book a domestic once I clear Immigration.Thanks.
