do we also know about the spouse and child. I want to take both mine but we don’t have legal marriage. We had a blessing in Thailand but didn’t bother with the legal stuff! Or back in the uk! Do we need to do a quick dash to legalise this so they can be attached to my visa?

I’m looking at this visa also to move and continue my marketing agency from there. Quality of life for me is the main motivator.

I’m just picking up on this one. Same thing from me as well. I wouldn’t have a contract for work in what I do I would only have branded invoices and a limited uk company registered document. Is this suffice? How long do you need to be trading or earning for? I only just went remote and set a business up so it’s infancy stages.

Can I check on this. I thought the DTV visa meant that it was only valid to be used once so 6 months leave the country and get another 6 months and that was it. Are we saying it can be extended in Thailand once then at the 12 month mark you leave and then it is renewed again for 6 months? The comms hasn’t been clear on it. I run my own marketing business and wanted to use this to try and stay long term but didn’t think it would work. I also qualify for retirement visa in 6 years so this would fill the gap! Tia

yes looking at that now as an option for me to get visa. Though the 10 year retirement visa does say spouse and kid under 20 on the website! So maybe another option

Thanks. I got a 6 year old kid and selling our home whilst setting up a business. Need and want to do it legit. Don’t want to be looking over my shoulder all the time. Sure I can probably save but would rather respect the countries law 👌and not hamper my business either
