That's not "the visa", that's just the confirmation that you hold it... 😉

But yes... save it on the phone and carry a printout... you never know...

@Tim ******
Actually you don't even need the printout for the Immigration, because they can see in the system that this passport holds a DTV. But it's never wrong to have a piece of paper... just in cases the phone die or whatever.

Another thing... since there seems to be some confusion in the last days... the idea behind the eVisa system is, that everything will be done online. There is no need to visit the Embassy or the Consulate. And also they don't want to see you there anymore... ;-)

@Steph *****
When you enter they can see in the system that you hold a DTV and will give you a stamp. Just in cases carry a printout and just arrive.

Since nobody knows yet, how exatly the extension will work, yes... out and in is the best way at the moment. If the extension is really just 1,900 Baht and no additional paperwork is needed, then you can stay 360 days before you have to leave.

TM30 has nothing to do with any visa application. It's the "Notification of residence for foreigners".

The visa application form you will find at the website of the Embassy/Consulate where you want to apply.

I know... 2013 if I remember right? But I never heard that someone refused them. Well... until today... Obviously the Exchange shops still take them...?

Oh my... sorry to hear that. I know that they always want "pristine", yes, but never heard that they are picky with the color... :-(
