When you get your new passport, it’s worth stumping up the extra and get the large passport with the additional pages 😉

It is also worth pointing out, in addition to the comment above, that you can also obtain an ‘Non O Visa’ within Thailand at your local immigration office, (you will have to check with your specific immigration in your area if they are able to issue an ‘Non O’ as not all can). The ‘Non O’ issued within Thailand is a 90 day visa, then after 2 months (some immigration offices 1.5 months) you can then apply for a 1 year extension of stay based on supporting your Thai wife. You will need the proof of funds for the ‘Non O Visa’ (no seasoning for the funds was required at my immigration) but seasoning is required for the application of the 1 year extension of stay.

I think you only need photocopies signed if you are NOT submitting the originals as well and are using photocopies only. The Thai embassy web page says that photocopies submitted without an original must be signed, and they can be signed by a Notary Public Officer or Solicitor.

Thanks anyway Tod, any advice is welcome as I’ve not been through this process before 👍🏼

Thanks Tod, so does that mean I can provide a statement from my building society?
