I have never had a problem with Bangkok Bank. Just order your annual statements a few days before you need them and there is never a problem. I think it’s just that agents don’t like Bangkok Bank because they have closed the loopholes for illegal activity.

In other words you are too dumb to do your own research and a minimal bit of paperwork. It’s so easy for anyone to do if they speak to their Immigration office and ask what they require.

Sorry, but I find their system bulletproof if you are honest and a genuine retirement applicant and also for extensions. It’s all a part of integrating with Thais and not about wanting to be another nationality encroaching on their Culture. Respect the same as you expect in your country.
