7 days free in phuket is not that bad. Plenty of time to explore and enjoy then move somewhere else.

I got that, why all my questions is because my time for extension is right before i plan to relocate so might need to relocate earlier so i dont have to go back again. Thanks for all help!

If i were to apply lets say 1 day before my visa expires would they still give me a two weeks? And if they do, does the 2 weeks count towards my 60 extension days?

I know that the first covid extension starts from the day i apply. Is it from when i get the 2 weeks or from when i return and get the stamp?

What happens if you test positive for COVID-19 while staying in a Test and Go hotel in Thailand?

I used tune and saw it did not cover it but went with it anyways. I saw someone using axa who manage to get them to pay for it. So check with them. One important thing with axa was to save the results for the test you do at the airport, they needed that as proof even when the person did a positive test 10 days after arriving.

If no or mild symptoms you could end up in a quarantine hotel. This is not covered by some of the insurances. So make sure you have one that covers covid without symptoms and no hospital stay.
