If i do the covid extension and they give me a 2 week under consideration do i need to come back in exactly in two weeks or when ever during the 2 weeks? Also i guess its not possible but i ask anyway, do i need to return to the same immigration office?

TLDR : Answer Summary
After receiving a COVID extension with an under consideration period, you must return exactly on the date stamped in your passport. It is also necessary to return to the same immigration office where you applied for the extension, although experiences may vary by location.

You return on the exact day instructed.

I went to Chaeng Wattana and it was a one stop shop. 60 days Covid stamp, no return in 2 week. Everything was done in one step. Every place maybe different.

You have to return on the date stamped on the passport. Make sure they did not stamp you to return on a weekend; if they did, ask to change the stamp.

Yes you do

I got that, why all my questions is because my time for extension is right before i plan to relocate so might need to relocate earlier so i dont have to go back again. Thanks for all help!

Where did you do yours? Heard it is different if they do it or not

Sadly, a person can not pick and choose the immigration office they want to use to get an extension of stay.

Great, last question thank you so much for the info!

If i were to apply lets say 1 day before my visa expires would they still give me a two weeks? And if they do, does the 2 weeks count towards my 60 extension days?

yes they would still give you two weeks consideration and it will come out of the 60 days. I just did my extension

Thanks! Do i need to bring anything more than my passport?

I know that the first covid extension starts from the day i apply. Is it from when i get the 2 weeks or from when i return and get the stamp?

You will need to bring your passport, and the blue receipt (if you still have it).

If your extension of stay is approved, the balance of the time will be given (so about 59 days). There is no fee to close out an under consideration stamp.
