well..... you need your Irish DL translated & notarised (correct me if I'm wrong) and I don't know if its possible in your province so a trip might be required here, sorry I don't know.

yes sure we have a DLT here but make sure they want the same documents as your province wants. TM 30. The hotel you book into can give you a TM30 receipt too.

great. My Aussie embassy doesn't do translations just notorises the copy of the license. I think your embassy will do the same

firstly some offices ask for your English license translated and some don't. Secondly yes you should have gotten an IDP as its much easier.

Finally if you were picked up you would have been fined with driving here without a valid licence. They have tightened the rules here
