So far they mentioned for "TR & exempt" are applicable for this scheme and for non imm and on arrival are prohibited. I think for more clear picture better to show up in their office and make clarification.

My thai wife read the article and they specific mentioned that restriction on the "non immigrant visas" only for the renewal. Other than that would be consider resume as normal !
