I did have to explained quite details. I said that I can't go back to my country because they require me to have a booster vaccine, and I hadn't that time. I can't go outside Thailand either because not many countries open, and I told them that I travel inside Thailand instead, they seems have the records in their system showing my movement to each places based on which hotel that I stayed. They confirmed it to me, that I travel to 12 cities during my 4 months here, and I said yes. So I guess they kinda okay because it means I'm really a traveller, eventhough a slow one since I took 1 week+ in each place.

I did exactly like you. I'm Indonesian, came to Thailand on December 2021 with TR60+30 days ext+ 1 time Covid extension then left before my visa expired. 2 weeks after that I came back here using my free 30 days exemption, and at DMK airport the immigration officer (3 of them) came to me when I was in the immigration counter and asked questions regarding my previous 4 months time here. What did I do and if I'm a tourist, why did I need 4 months to be inside the country. I explained everything, showing my return ticket, bank statements, and insurance, and they finally stamped my passport and let me in. I think that's mostly because those 4 months was considered as still in the COVID rampant era and it's unsafe to travel around or outside. So I'm not sure how the immigration will be with the situation is better for travelling now.
