I wasn't aware Thais had to book ASQ for commercial flights, that info combined with no covid test prior to flight helps me understand a little more why people are testing positive for covid at the latter part of ASQ or soon after release from ASQ... shameful way to protect citizens and endanger others... tourist visa requirements are different to other long stay expat visa's ... its almost like extortion because they insist on Thai insurance (ie, little brown envelopes). And good luck if you apply for COE without using a Thai insurance company... many people have been bitten. Look on Thai immigration site, they don't care what an embassy says 😅😅
