Okay, so according to this post (and please don’t beat me up for asking cause I’m just trying to make sure I have the correct information), when I land into Bangkok for my vacation for 12 days, in order to be able to get out of the airport and travel to my hotel, I need to have $700 in my pocket to show the Thai immigration officers?

My concern is either losing all that money or being targeted to being robbed. Please advise. Thanks.
