Timothy Gratton So it had to be 6 months of statements with a minimum balance of 6K euro or just a recent statement indicating a minimum balance of 6K euro?

Let us know how it goes. On the website they do specify residency requirement, but perhaps they waive it for EU citizens.

They are actually cheaper than usual because of this, but they may cancel many during those days starting Sunday depending on how strong the typhoon hits HK.

Maxim Thibodeau In my mind the way I am prioritising is SETV. METV is second. ED is third. I have thought about METV in Australia and would take that over ED. Unfortunately my nationality does not qualify me for a visa exempt entry. The METV back home is also hard to get due to a bitchy corrupt employee combined with lack of local proof of employment. But being part of the EU, I understand there could be some viable options at some honorary consulates in Germany for example, that are less demanding. But yeah, Australia is on the list of options. Flights are 15K onwards return I believe with a bit of planning on low cost airlines.

Thought about that, I am currently weighing that option. That's a very good suggestion by the way.

No. Phnom Pehn can theoretically issue 50 visas in a row should they wish to do so. Japan is very strict and sticks to the residency requirement as far as I understand.

would totally love to, unfortunately they only issue SETVs to people residing in Japan.

Michael Lucken Keeping Vientiane as a last resort for backup. When all the others become too "funny".
