My friend was sick one year and unable to travel, he got a certificate from the doctor and immigration gave him a stamp of two weeks to recover. Good luck

 many thanks, I suspected that the extension was a flat 30 days but someone told me that a 7 day extension was possible. As usual the advice here is quick and concise, I thank you sir.
