Just get my non-immigrant ED visa from Yangon Thai embassy. And I recommend it a lot.
I arrive on Monday 8.30am in front of the embassy, 10 people are waiting. Embassy open at 9am. In 15 minutes I was out already.
There are 4 counters, 2 only for submit the documents. The staff is nice, friendly, professional and very well organised.
I submit my documents and an info was missing on the application form: the staff tell me what to write and I did it from the counter directly. She then check all the documents, you pay 80USD (USD only is accepted) then you get your receipt.
On the next day, I arrive at 2pm and 5 minutes later I've got my passport with my new ED visa.
Be careful that you have to submit a perfect documentation as requested on their website which are:
- passport + copy passport
- application form duly completed
- 2 photos 3.5*4.5cm
- all documents from your school (my school is the Knowkedge and they provide me the right documents)
- Police criminal certificate
- bank statement.
If your documentation are precise and well organised, I highly recommend to apply your ED visa in Yangon.
Organised, friendly and professional.
In addition, the city of Yangon is much more alive and beautiful than Vientiane.
I understand but your previous message was wrong: it's not Monday 12 but Tuesday 12 December. So on 12 it's opened. But on Monday it's not. You follow?
