Asked Royal Thai Embassy Vientiane, Lao

Good afternoon, I have a question. Do you open next week Monday 11th of December ? Because in Thailand it is a public holiday. Thank you

Answer : We open on December 12

Answer summary

The Royal Thai Embassy in Vientiane will be closed on Monday, December 11th, 2017, due to a public holiday observed in Thailand. It will reopen on Tuesday, December 12th. However, some users reported being advised to return to pick up documents on the 11th, despite the embassy's official answer.

FYI: I just dropped off my documents this morning at the Thai consulate in Vientiane and the staff told me to come back Monday (December 11th) to pick them up. Also, they still had signs to indicate they were closed Dec 4 and 5, but no mention of Dec 11.

I understand but your previous message was wrong: it's not Monday 12 but Tuesday 12 December. So on 12 it's opened. But on Monday it's not. You follow?

It's Tuesday 12 December. For sure it's opened.

For Monday 11 December, that should be closed.

Thanks to check your calendar

If you check their calendar it says nothing about closed. That was the reason why I asked them .And Royal Thai Consulate-General in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, opened.
