only a HOTEL , with a hotel licence. have this system. those without it. are without licence. so they have never ever key in before. same like small guesthouse. dont be suprised by it.
i believe his visa was made outside thailand. like penang . 1 year multiply. non b. the reason could be all the paperwork he need to prepare if he wants to do yearly extension in thailand.
