some people prefer paying taxes in thailand and by doing so establishing their tax residency in thailand and so not pay taxes in their country of origin. Thailand taxes are far inferior than most European countries for example 😉 and Thai is only taxing remitted or local incomes not international incomes.

Lets say I make 20M a year aboard and remit 3M in thailand I rather pay 35% on the 3M than 65% on the 20M in some European countries that will spend my taxes like s**t

not true. If he’s not Thai tax resident he can remit funds and be tax free. He also already paid taxes in Europe on this money. As long as he bring the money into thailand before he gets tax resident (spend 180 days here) he can do it TAX FREE. Only Thai tax resident are subjected to taxes.

Ho and if there is a Fast Track immigration lane at the airport (like in Phuket Airport), pay for it (200 THB cash only, they can eventually let you go to the ATM after immigration and comeback if you don’t have cash). They are apparently less “questioning” if you pay for the fast track.

probably no risk to get refused. They can clearly see that you come for short period of times. Getting refused is if you try to play with the exemption to stay long period of time (60 days + extend, and repeat.)

But I recommend to apply for a DTV, it’s the cheapest Visa that can allow you to stay in Thailand long term.

The Multi Entry Tourist Visa trick might not work more than 1 or 2 years… especially if they start to be more strict on the rules. But at least officially you have a visa, and you respect the rules so you might be questioned but I am sure they’ll let you in.

You can try the Tourist Visa Multi Entry (TR60 Multi). This visa can be used for a period of 6 months starting from the day it’s approved. You can apply for it on the e-visa website, which is both affordable and easy to get. It allows you to stay for 60 days per entry, and you can extend your stay by an additional 30 days at the immigration office for 1,900 THB.

After 90 days (including the initial 60 days and the 30-day extension), you can fly to Vietnam or Malaysia (cheaper), stay out for 1 or 2 days, and return to Thailand. Upon reentry, you’ll get another 60 days plus a 30-day extension.

Then, approximately one week before your visa expires (the expiration date stated on the e-visa PDF you got), you should exit Thailand for 1 or 2 days and comeback back BEFORE it expires. When you return, even though your visa will officially expire while you're in Thailand, you will still be able to stay because your final entry stamp will permit you an additional 60 days plus a 30-day extension. In total, you can remain in Thailand for around 9 months using the Tourist Visa Multi.

Don’t pay this amount of money. This is not worth, do it by yourself, it will cost you 10 times less.

Very low risk to get rejected if you have all necessary documents and using the e-visa system.

I agree that it’s not the business of the company if you get refused at the immigration in the arrival country.

Their job is to fly a plane. Not to care about immigration rules.

Alors pourquoi ce visa qui donne les même droits que l’exemption de visa? Eh bien car il y a des gens qui voyagent souvent en Thaïlande, trop souvent et risquent d’être refusés à l’aéroport si ils viennent en Thaïlande sans visa (donc ils optent pour un visa touristique)

Il n’y a pas de visa touristique à 40€ permettant de rester 90j SANS faire une extension au bureau de l’immigration, il n’y a pas de « 40€ pour éviter d’y aller ».

La dite extension doit être faite dans un bureau d’immigration local, sur place, cela prend entre 20 minutes et 3h selon le bureau d’immigration. Elle vous permet de rester de nouveau 30j de plus en Thaïlande sans quitter le territoire.

C’est peut-etre pénible mais c’est la règle. Ils sont déjà gentils maintenant l’exemption de visa est de 60j extensible à 90 contre 30 extensible à 60 auparavant.

More seriously it doesn’t look possible to get ban except for overstay, Tourist Visa Multi Entry allows you to stay more than 180 days per year by simply going in and out for example… so as soon as you have a valid visa there is no reason you’re getting banned.

Even for visa runs with visa exemption the maximum you risk is being refused entry but not banned.
