On the passport control i had a lot of stress. There was a few people from the agency, they stick to me as i was the only the white guy over there. They promised help in avoiding overnight stay in Cambodia, return same day in thailand without any questions about presenting 10k cash, hotel and return ticket.
I tried to ignore them, but!.. when i came to the counter, the agent acted aggressively, she stand next to me and said something to the officer. Then the officer gave my passport back said that i have to talk to "supervisor", didnt stamp my passport.
Then someone showed up to said exactly the same bs things and that i have to stay overnight in Cambodia (while my gf is wanting in the car) on the boarder.
It was literally extortion.
I did as same as most of people suggested: asked for a stamp, then made Cambodian visa, after Cambodian enter/exit.
I showed my address proof to the thai officer, over 10k cash, then the officer came out and i followed him to more private area, he said it must be 20k, i said it's about 20k and showed my thai bank card.
Oh, okokok. - he said laughing. Then address. Tickets i didnt have at that time, was waitting for my friend's favor with a cheap solution. I explained that my gf is waiting in the car and she has a PTSD because russland shelling in eastern Ukraine. However he didnt care at all. Spent anothe half an hour waiting for a ticket and i finally got an entry stamp.
Its a shame. So dishonest people in such a beautiful country.
P.S. I mean dishonest agents, immigration officers are doing their job very well.
