Legally all kids need an extension otherwise they're on overstay. Many people don't bother because kids can't be fined, deported or banned. However, they will get an overstay stamp in their passports, which for Thailand doesn't mean a thing. However, when travelling to other countries, an overstay stamp can (I'm not saying will) raise a red flag. So there's your options

Ok. It's 150 baht. What date are you coming here?

@Russell ******
It's included in the air fare so no-one will notice

So you're basing your advice on patterns associated with an emergency covid extension? I always think it's best to base advice on known facts, not on "ifs" and "buts". Absolutely no idea what a visa class 101 is. Are you sure you know what you're talking about?

As well as what Brandon has said, the visa exempt entry is scheduled to revert to 30 days from April 1st

Thai immigration loves rubber stamps. They won't be getting rid of those for a long long time

I don't think passport control is interested in pink card so I'd say the usual foreign lane. One thing does get you through the Thai lane is to have your Thai woman with you. That always works for me

I don't know the purchase conditions. Just phone 1690 and select English language option. Staff there are very helpful
