I guess i was curious if any imm offices are issuing any type of visa where i wouldn't need to leave Thailand for ...even a short period longer, say 30 days.

I guess i know and understand that I'm going to have to exit the country in order to get an O.

That was not the case in Koh Samui. Went yesterday

Hi. I'm in the same situation. Went to Samui today. Thai officer pulled together everything I needed. Here is the list:

1. Application for extension TM7 (2 copies, at immigration)

2. Copy of passport: bio page, latest entrance stamp

3. Departure card: TM6

4. Acknowkedgement of T&C: STM 2 (form at immigration)

5. Letter from my Embassy (US Citizen)

6. 2 photos

Haven't got my stamp yet. Going first thing in the morning.
