Do travellers from Africa to Thailand need yellow fever vaccination cards and special checks at the airport?

There is a special yellow fever screening/check area (even if you have a brief layover in certain countries you are directed to go there). They do ask for paperwork, flight info. etc (assuming they also ask for proof of vaccine here too). I would try to call or send an email regarding the lost card.

Feel free to send me a message. I have a situation similar. I have only been to Thailand twice and the stays were separated by multiple months. I was at Immigration Division 1 and IT Square on Monday and can relay that info to you if it's helpful.
