It certainly looks like the easiest way I have been reading some people sending money from overseas have not had it identified as international transfer. It has put me off , I'll just keep the money in the bank. Imagine trying to explain that to the immigration officer.

I'll probably be criticised for this, but getting a Non O based on retirement makes you totally independent. That's of course if you meet the requirements.

Yes however it begs the question is it the best place for such questions? And I think you are smart enough to work that out for yourself. I will give you an example. People send deposits for condo rental and get scammed. Or Wonder why their electricity bill is so high. Only after do they start to research . Looking at reviews or official sites are way more beneficial than Facebook. Where people give wrong information and argue.
