not sure before July 31 is the issue, on or before serve the same purpose. Will borders even be open? It seems like a 'kick the can' down the road answer. However, August 1 would likely become an issue if we cannot fly/cross a border and return, hopefully with no quarantine. Anyways, not one Immigration officer had suggested the 'extension of stay' suggested previously. Am I asking the wrong question by asking for a new visa? Thanks for the help.

Thanks. I did all this only to be told to fly out before July 31 and come back. My current visa expires mid August. Does my new work permit complicate the issue? Am I asking the wrong questions? As my several encounters both personally and through folks helping the same answer keeps coming back. Fly before July 31. This extension of stay has never been suggested.

hahaha! Yes mate a 'real' Non Imm B Visa. Issued in Australia last year. The company is my own small business. Due to the complexities involved here with business ownership i am also employed by the company. Is how to get the work permit. All the taxes are done etc...
