I think the only thing that benefits us right now is having a baby born here . And my 11 year old sees a specialist here as well .

And now this company is going to help my husband with visa 😀 once this is all taken care of I'll feel so much better I love it here !!

yup that's what was so upsetting for us . It's like the places pick n choose who they want to have what . We went to Cambodia and told that . We went to an agent in Bangkok told the same thing.

But then heard stories of families actually getting by with just the main DTV holder .

We can afford it but don't wanna transfer investments and all that .

This is where we got all confused .

Because it states you only have to show 500k baht . But it's actually for each individual person .

So my family is 5 people . 75k USD .

We are in the process of the business visa.

But yes you have to show 16k in the bank for those three months . They are changing things left n right

Howuch did you need In Your bank account ? 500k baht for each person or just theain holder of the dtv ?

My husband and I work remote from us companies . We just hook our stuff up to the router in our condo . Works just fine . I'm a social media marketing manager so when I make posts I just schedule them for USA Time

yeah that's what I think we're going to do. The agent man we spoke to said that the business visa might be our best route to go . Which would be great for my husband he's an engineer . And surrounding countries is where our materials are made . And we want Thailand to be our forever home .

We can pay for the dtv but taking money out of investments just doesn't seem right .

that's a great idea . Thank you .we go back to Bangkok tomorrow . Both my daughters see doctors there . One for mental health . And my newborn was born in Bangkok so we do have some leeway. We just wanna do things right .

we were thinking of going there . But we literally got our newborns CRBA like three days before we planned on leaving and we already had plane tickets etc .

So when we get back to Thailand were hoping it all runs smoothly . We heard people saying you only get 30 days now . But from our understanding that hasn't been passed yet .

We get a lot of harsh comments about us coming here without the dtv originally . But we came here to look for places see what we liked etc . Then I had my baby early so we got an apartment for a year lease already . And we were super hyped for the DTVs then we got hot with we all need the funds . Fingers crossed it all works out !

no were in Bangkok . We have a shared account as well 2 older kids 13 & 11 and a new born 8 weeks .

We're in Cambodia right now so we can go back for new stamps on Friday . And we're gonna go the business visa route . We met a guy that said it was better for our family as it could be very expensive for us .

We have a shared bank account with the 15k in it and have maintained that for months now . We both work remote . I'm a social media marketing manager . And he's an engineer in car audio for I believe 7 companies .we could transfer the total amount from investments but it just doesn't sit right with us .

The agent did state that it depends on where you apply . But a ton of people were even saying that all surrounding countries never asked . So we're gonna go back to Thailand on Friday and contact the agent , lawyer etc to hopefully see how we can go about the business visa .

And if all else fails we will do the DTV .

For wife and kids you only needed to show $15,000 ?

We were told each person needed to have the 15,000

I'm so confused 😕 we didn't believe it so went to like 4 different agencies that all told us the same thing .
