it's not complicated to us . What would be complicated is getting stuck in another lease and then having a newborn to travel with . Plus I was dealing with custody etc. it's been really smooth sailing honestly .
I didn't want to be trapped with another year lease back home . On top of I had a deadline on flying . I'm 8 months pregnant I'm 35 weeks now been here almost 2 weeks . I didn't want my baby born in the states and then moved to another country . On top of a newborn on a long flight oowee .
We just made sure we had enough money that if we needed to stay where we applied for the visa we would be okay .
So we can stay here 60 days . Then extend 30 more . I'm due February 5th or sooner . So in-between these visa exempt days . We are looking for places already have a few were looking at next week ( working with a dude that does alot of YouTube videos out here and he has some people who are helping us look at places .) on top of they help with DTV not sure how yet but it was mentioned . Once baby is born we get birth certificate and passport for her . Then file under the DTV spouse and dependents .
Even when we came through immigration we told them were having our baby in Bangkok and looking for an home . Once we get established were getting dtv . They stamped all our passports . And didn't even ask for our plane ticket out of Thailand even tho we bought them .
We just moved here . Both remote workers . We got AIS phones with unlimited everything . So we use that for communicating . As well as Facebook messenger .
Anonymous participant we've purchased them because we saw people mentioning that we needed them so we did and they didn't even ask us at immigration they just asked us how long we were staying and what we were going to do and that was it but I have yeah I have a feeling if we didn't do it that they would have asked so we just did it they were pretty cheap
So my family and I just got here on the 24th . I'm having my baby here in February . After we get her Birth certificate from the embassy . We're going to Cambodia to apply . We have someone helping us with applications .
I didnt want to sign another lease in America and wanted to come before my baby was born . But court custody held us up we were supposed to be here in November but things always happen .
We're from the US so we are able to stay 60 days ... Then the extra 30 in-between those times 60-30 days we're doing the visas.
From the US when we got to immigration they didn't ask for it ... And we bought them they just asked what we're going to Thailand for we said checking it out for a couple months to find a place and that was it .
