are you sure? Now as Big Joke is running the show? I do plan to return to Thailand after my Japan trip. A overstay stamp might give the immigration officer the feeling that I might overstay again

i had this one Single Entry Tourist Visa from Laos , then a 7 months ED visa and now my first 30 day visa exempt stamp this year from Cambodia.
However my passport has about 5 year history of about 3 non-B visas as i was employed here.2 ED Visas and some visa exempt stamps with 3-4 Tourist visas.
How does that work when you are a digital nomad or freelancer etc? They should offer a appropriate visa for those people then they would not need to do visa runs etc.
Work permit you can only get if you are employed by a company in Thailand or you register your own Thai company with ridiculous requirements and lots of headache.
