I also applied for a extra 30 days tourist visa and it was granted by the Thai embassy in Sydney, I was hoping that it would give me 60 + 30 days thus saving me having to go to immigration in Thailand to extend my stay. It appears I may have wasted $65 for a visa that is useless, ahh well we live and learn. I will arrive in Thailand in 3
May I suggest you watch videos on YouTube by Dr Jeffery Pang he talks about PRP injections for relieving arthritic pain he backs up his recommendations with actual medical studies, the only thing is every clinic I have had contact with in Thailand don’t do the procedure properly they don’t draw enough blood (it should be 60 ml) to extract the required amount of Platelet cells (6-8 mls) to inject into the knee thus making the treatment useless. I will continue to look and if I find a clinic that does the treatment properly I will put it on the platform.
When I arrive 5 June with a tourist visa allowing me an extra 30 days and the 60 days on entry is granted will that mean I can stay for 90 days total. This would save me applying for an extension of 30 days as I am planning to stay 90 days.
after a bit more research I am leaning towards PRP I need both knees done so I might try Surecell in Pratumnak. Mark how many injections did you require and how long ago did you have them, from what I understand a follow up injection is recommended every 12 months
