Update on my visit to Ayutthaya immigration. Sat down with immigration officer ,had my cancelation letter on hand told her I need to cancel my extension as i’ll be leaving Thailand before it ends (April 2019). Lady officer said no need to cancel just leave no problem and if and when return apply for non o visa again.

A visa cancels if you leave but an extension(which i'm on) doesn't i read somewhere if you don't cancel an extension and you come back and apply again you get problems with immigration and they fine you for overstay ,not sure how it works.

I'm not leaving until 2nd October i thought they would just stamp me up till that date if i go in tomorrow..I'm going back to the UK i don't know when i will return so best to cancel avoid any problems in the future.

Ok thank Tod.My next 90 day report is in 6 weeks time would i be able to do the change of address at the same time or would they fine me for not notifying them earlier?

Employment ...my school have asked me to stay for six months they will give me a 6 month contract I was just unsure immigration gave 6 months extension 🙂

Right 🙂I didn’t know that thanks...So my contract with the school ends on 31st Jan should I go to immigration on that day or before( if I go before do I have to stop working from the day I apply)?

So i will get the letter from my school canceling my extension on the 31st Jan 2018 when should i go to immigration with the letter and paperwork for the non 0 and apply?
