 Saving face would explain lowering prices, but it doesn`t explain why they raise them. I`ve been tracking Samui real estate for over 10 years pre ¨White Lotus Mania¨ and there are literally hundreds of unsold properties that keep raising their prices over the years. I agree with Sarah, I literally don`t understand the logic at all.
