Ibis Riverside Bangkok at Mae Nam Chao Phraya is a great place, about double the price you mentioned, more than 40€, including a great breakfast buffet at the banks of the river or inside. With swimming 🏊‍♀️ pool from where you can look at the party boats. 7 k from Grand Palace down the river.

if you are married to a Thai person you need only 400.000 deposit for the retirement visa. I will go for that next year. It gives you a different position. But I’m married for more than 25 years

I tried to book a flight Chiang Mai Bangkok using Visa with my German Bank Account. Couldnt do it because the Identifikation App didn’t work in Thailand. Couldnt pay with Visa, unbelievable. So I went to a travel agency close by the hotel who did it for me for a small fee, actually. I heard they offer this kind of service in 7 11 close by also. You identify and they transfer the money 💰 using your Visa. Amazing. You couldn’t get that service in a German supermarket. Kind people
