Let's gather all the info we can about this... I think I'll go with my wife to immigration and ask some questions tomorrow... They'll of course ask us to pay right away but hopefully questions will be answered "officially " & we can proceed from there.

David Mariño Mendez I think his recommendation was yes, wait until the end of July, then apply for the extension... amnesty *should* prevent overstay fines.
