What are the chances of getting a new COVID extension after changing my registered address in Thailand?

I've (unofficially) changed address from Samut Prakan to Bkk. Denied another covid extension @ 1 yr ago. Got 1-yr extension based on marriage. Almost expired

...my question is: If I go to CW, officially change my address (before Aug 24 or whatever the date will be), what are my chances of getting a new covid extension?

I know it doesn't make sense but 60 days to prepare the next move is definitely worth 1900 baht.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is inquiring about their chances of obtaining a new COVID extension after unofficially changing their address from Samut Prakan to Bangkok and being denied an extension a year ago. They have a one-year extension based on marriage that is close to expiring and want to know if officially changing their address before the expiration date would improve their chances of getting a new COVID extension. Comments suggest that outcomes vary and recommend having an alternative plan ready in case of a denial.

They may ask you why you are not extending your non-O. This happened to a buddy in Isaan. He did the same thing, wanted a 60-dayer, and was declined and offered either to extend his non-O another 12 months or get a 7-day to leave Thailand stamp. He was told the covid extensions are for people unable to get a proper visa. Best to enquire before you do anything. Knowing CW they'll just give you the 7-day stamp, then you'll have to bounce out/in and get a 30+30

If you mean the 60-day extension, that's issued once per visa and I've already used it (by mistake while waiting for them to extend one of the last-minute covid deadlines.)

...But thanks for your suggestion!

Lack of (time with) funds on account or of course I would apply for a new 1-yr extension. Just looking for anyone who's possibly jumped these hoops already, so thanks for your friend's story.

possibly try for a 60 day thai family visa, giving you time to get your affairs in order.

No one can tell you what your odds are. The only thing you can do is apply and see what they say. Have a plan B ready if you're denied.

This is basically plan B only for convenience's sake... Plan A is to apply for a new 1-yr visa in Laos.
