What should I do if my NON-O visa is expiring while applying for a covid extension in Thailand?

U.S. passport, expired ME non-O, 60 day family visit to expire today (11/25).

Just back from Samut Prakan immigration to apply for the "covid" extension. Longest wait ever for me (3+ hrs) but no other issues. Under consideration, scheduled to return Dec. 2.

Thanks again to the admins and everyone in the group, the sharing of information and experience has been priceless this year!
