Good morning and happy Monday everyone.

Recently moved to another province (into a family member's house). Visa is due for update/extension next month.

Do we simply go to the local immigration office, fill out the TM(#?) form that states I'm "officially" living at their house and then I can do all my business there?

TLDR : Answer Summary
After moving to a new province in Thailand, you need to update your visa by registering your new address with the local immigration office. You must fill out the TM30 form to inform immigration of your relocation, preferably within 24 hours. If possible, it's recommended to complete the TM30 filing online for convenience. Be sure to have all necessary documents on hand, as specific requirements may vary depending on the immigration office.

TM30 filing is way way easier if you or the home owner can do it online.

Otherwise you’ll need this stuff (list is specific for the Phuket office, but others will probably be similar).

, the online solution is especially beneficial when the house lord has to do registration repeatedly like hotels. If really only one time, then not much to gain. The list of requirements (for registration) is the same in my province (Prachin) also.

TM 30. I believe that you are supposed to register within 24 hours of relocation so when your family/you do the report, tell immigration you just moved.

thank you! We're actually in Bkk now and when we return to our new place, immigration will be our first stop. 🙏
