I know what the Apec card is 😕 Most people can't get any type of extension of stays on this entry.

What documents did you use to acquire this extension of stay?

If the doctor says you can not travel, AND the immigration office agrees with your doctor, then you can get a /90 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to medical reasons (the length depends on the doctor's treatment orders)

Talk to the hospital your hotel is affiliated with to get a /90 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to medical reasons. The cost is 1,900 THB.

- You can not use certain consulates to get a tourist visa (I know one of the consulates in Malaysia do not allow people with overstay stamps to use the consulate).

- You might not be able to apply for an Thai elite visa

- You will have to pay a fine of 500THB a day

They *SHOULD* file a TM30; a lot of hotels aren't doing it, especially the hotels that are cheap 🙁

He can not get a 60 day extension of stay - UNLESS his Non-O Visa is based on Marriage to a Thai National or Raising Half-Thai child.

2K THB for an in-country Non-O Visa based on volunteering, 1,900 for an extension of stay based on volunteering.
