I have non O visum for 3 months..finishing on 9 March.

Last month the dentist made an implant.

This has to stay for at least 2 months before the crow can be placed.

Is there a possibility to get an 30 or 60 day extension visa for medical reasons?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the possibility of extending their Non-O visa for an additional 30 or 60 days due to a medical issue related to a dental implant. Responses suggest that while there might be a chance with a doctor's letter, it is uncertain if immigration will consider the need for a dental crown a valid reason for an extension.

You can most likely get a 60 day extension based on the same reason you obtained your visa.

, So making a little thing clear, there is no 60days extension with 'same reason' for Non-O visa, only a 1-year extension based on the "same" reason with the original visa. 60days visiting a Thai family is the different reason from being dependent on a Thai or half Thai child.

And you don't have to have a Non-O dependent on a Thai spouse /half Thai child to apply for a 60days visiting family extension.

for what purpose did you obtain the Non-O? Is that purpose written anywhere on the visa?

Of course Benjamin. It was my assumption that he had obtained his 90 day non O based on one of these two options, hence why I said "most likely".

Sorry if I gave any misleading advice.

He can not get a 60 day extension of stay - UNLESS his Non-O Visa is based on Marriage to a Thai National or Raising Half-Thai child.

You are not married then

>when need surgery is extention possible?

If the doctor says you can not travel, AND the immigration office agrees with your doctor, then you can get a
*****
/90 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to medical reasons (the length depends on the doctor's treatment orders)

You can ask your dentist for a letter and try, but I think immigration will not think a crown is a valid medical issue.
