100% correct ...2 months minimum 400k OR 40k pm for 12 months from overseas into your thai bank ....of course once you have obtained your visa , you can spend that 40k monthly on whatever ....I am not sure after the visa is granted what requirements there are with keeping the 400k in the bank ,if you elected that method ...

pretty sure you can stay 6 months , then be granted a 90 day extension on a multiple entry tourist visa ...you have to do a border run after 3 months, then a few days before the 60 days you apply for a 90 day extension ...so 9 months

mine expires also in March , but playing the waiting game here ....I am not going to go into quarentine ...when and if they stop that I will go back ....if my visa has expired so be it ...there are options I believe

ok , but you said that Australians won't be allowed to travel until November as said in a reliable German newspaper , and then said the Australian government have said their will be no international travel until next year ...wouldnt you believe what the gov said before an obvious " unreliable " German newspaper ....and post it the correct way

where did you hear that ...as of Friday all states except Western Australia voted to open local state borders before xmas ...opening international borders was NOT discussed , so at this point in time , 2021 at the earliest....please fact check before you guess

I live in Huahin most of the year , but will elect to not commit to 14 days in quarantine...for my wife and myself , ridiculous money I would be thinking ...glad to enjoy Oz at no cost
