I meant how many are you allowed, coz I've been reading you can't stay more than 6 months/year, which means 2 SETVs +extensions.

Probably she was told so. Anyway I'll bring the 3 documents the Embassy need - hotel, flight and 20k statement. Should be fine I guess.

So agents being tougher than the Embassy? Makes no sense, but I believe it if you say so. So agents want 6 month of bank statements with now much money as proof?

Wait, first time I hear that. 6 months of bank statements?! I thought it was a bank statement showing 20K Baht proof !! New rules in Phnom Phen?!

I intend to prepare all necessary documentation, the use of an agent indeed can save me the hassle of of the trips to Embassy. Thanks for the update.

I have seen the floods in Penang and have followed the situation there, was rough storm with heavy rain though, I've checked the weather forecast for my stay and seems ok. And yes Richard Doodson, I'm very grateful for all your responses 👍
