Your going to have to go in person though. There in Pattaya

I got one 10 weeks ago. Used an agent. Cost 5000 baht.

Apparently it's harder now, and costs more. Need to look at agents though.

I'll not be doing that here, I'll wait till I go over.

Seems to be easier I think.

Anyway. Off to sleep. Late here.

Cheers

It only happens if I say it's for long term stay.

If I say it's for expenses it goes straight through.

But I think now I know why. Brandon has explained

I was just curious, not something I'll be losing sleep over.

But I did just find out I need it to show as an international transfer for my visa.

20 minutes ago I had no idea about that.

I only send money that's actually in my wise account. And has been for days or weeks. Always takes a day or 2 to go through to my Thai bank account

I'm sending for when I move over. In about a year, roughly.

I'll be using the visa that needs the 800,000 baht in bank.

So I need to make sure I keep sending this way, as it shows up as international transfer.

Wonder why that matters, but if important then that's the way I'll keep sending

In the long term I'm guessing it doesn't make any difference what reason I say I'm sending cash.

I'm only sending for when I move over and it doesn't really matter how long it takes to get there.

But dies the reason make any difference in the long run
