You are going to need to show a history between the both of you. Photos going back as long as possible. Chat history as well. Your going to need to provide bank statements for the last 6 months for both of you. She needs to prove almost every baht going in and out of her account. If there is unexplained money going through. The visa will be denied. She needs to prove that she will return. Just saying it is not enough. She needs to prove her address. Does she have children. If they go to school. Then need to show their id cards as well. Does she have a job. Does she have bills to pay. Then prove it. We just did the visitor visa 2 months ago. My application consisted of 126 pages of information. Our first visa was denied because of insufficient explanation of income in her bank. Once properly explained we were successful the second time. The application is very difficult. So many are denied because they couldn't prove enough connections to Thailand. And insufficient information about money. I also stuck £7000 in a savings account to show that I could take care of her financially while she was here. Good luck. Just remember the most important things. Reason to go back to Thailand. Number 1. And money explained in her bank. These 2 things account for almost everything denial of visa.

I visit Thailand for up to 6 weeks at a time 4 times a year. Ive never had an issue. And don't expect to ever have an issue. Some people I know visit for more. As long as your flying in as a tourist its almost next to zero your going to have a problem. And ive got a thai bank account on a tourist visit.

It has to be done in Thailand. Shes going to be in Thailand id imagine. So she needs to submit the application from there. But your going to need to submit documents as well. Its not as simple as it sounds. If you want to send me a message that's ok. Or I can give you some general info on here.

Embassy has nothing to do with visa. My girlfriend came here last month. Have to go through vfs global. Need to apply through there. Need fingerprints and photo taken as well. Takes between 1 and 5 weeks to get an answer. Took us 2 weeks. Have to show proof of relationship. Lots of chat history. Lots of pictures together. Need to show 6 month bamk statements from both sides. Need to prove you have a house. Plus a few other things.
