you may want to confirm how this works for USA. I am also USA and have had an APEC card for about 5 years. The USA is only a transitional member so it’s my understanding the visa benefits do not apply for us. When you get your card look at the back. It will probably be blank and not list other countries. Here is a link.



The Thai consulate Los Angeles also has some info for this. You have to have “THA” on back of card for visa benefit.

I have only been able to use card for premium or expedited immigration lines

I am in a similar situation. I put the money in on July 26th and will seasoned on Sept 26. Went to Koh Samui immigration yesterday. They requested 2 sets of all the docs needed and gave me a 9am appointment on 28th. They kept one set and I need to bring bank details. She said since weekend would be ok on overstay. I would check your local office. I already did 60 day extension on July 2 so didn’t have that option.

I just put in a request with that link and received less than an hour. Not sure letter will work but worth a try

Samui Airport is still open. Bangkok Air has only cancelled the international flights and reduced some of the BKK-USM flights
